Email reporting is a great way to check how your storage facility is performing with the ease of simply checking your email.

Getting Started

This article walks through how to create and edit your own scheduled email reports. You will want to make sure you are logged in to the StoragePug Insights Dashboard to begin.

Creating a Scheduled Email Report

  1. Once you are logged in to the Insights Dashboard, select Manage email reports

  2. Select the "Create new report" button on the top right of the screen

  3. Select the type of report you would like to create and click "Next"

    1. Pug Pro Tip: Send yourself a test email to see what that report would look like.

  4. On the following screen, begin setting up your report

    1. Subject: The report will have this text as the subject of the email.

    2. Frequency: How frequently the email gets sent out.

    3. Day of Week: Select which day you would like the email to be sent out.

      1. Pug Pro Tip: Select a day of the week/time of the month that is typically a less busy day so you may give the recipients a little more time to review the report.

    4. Locations: For multi-site locations, select which locations you would like to be included in the report. You can select all locations, some locations, or one location.

    5. Email List: Type which emails you would like to receive this report. This email does not need to be an Insights user.

  5. Click the "Finish" button

Editing an existing Scheduled Email Report

  1. Once you are logged in to the Insights Dashboard, select Manage email reports

  2. Find the report you would like to edit and select the "Edit" button for that report

  3. On the following screen, begin editing your report

    1. Subject: The report will have this text as the subject of the email.

    2. Frequency: How frequently the email gets sent out.

    3. Day of Week: Select which day you would like the email to be sent out.

    4. Locations: For multi-site locations, select which locations you would like to be included in the report. You can select all locations, some locations, or one location.

    5. Email List: Type which emails you would like to receive this report. This email does not need to be an Insights user.

    6. Existing emails: If you need to delete an email that is currently receiving the report, select the X icon next to the email you would like to delete

  4. Click the "Save" button on the lower right side of the screen.
