StoragePug has a uniformed approach to how we structure URLs for specific unit sizes and types. Understanding how we do this can help you provide specific links to prospective tenants.
Website URL Structure
First let's have a look at how we structure URLs for unit sizes and types on your website.
The two arrows on point #1 refer to to the dimensions of the units, and in this case, we are working with 10x15s.
If you wanted to share a link that would bring visitors to the 10x15 offerings in our example, you would use this link: box-sitelink.pugstorage.com/locations/memphis/view-unit/10/15
The arrow on point #2 refers to the Unit Type ID. In our example above, the Unit Type ID of 104 is for the Climate Controlled units.
If you wanted to share a link that brought visitors specifically to a 10x15 Climate Controlled unit, you would use this link: box-sitelink.pugstorage.com/locations/memphis/view-unit/10/15/104
The arrow on point #3 refers to the SiteLink ID Number, which is associated to a specific unit you have available for rent or reservation.
DO NOT include the SiteLink ID Number in any direct link as there is no need to. Plus, it is possible some website visitor could rent this specific unit before the individual with the link is able to do so, which means the link wouldn't work.

Practical Application
Let's say you speak with a client on the phone, or in person, and they are interested in a 10x15 climate controlled unit at a given location.
Knowing how our URL structure works gives you the ability to send that prospective tenant a direct link to that specific unit size and type via email or text.
PRO PUG TIP: We can apply this same approach to a link that you want to add on a website announcement banner. Maybe you are running a Winter Special on Drive-up 10x10s, so it would be helpful to link directly to that specific unit size and type from the banner - we can do that for you!
