Before Client Success can enable ID Upload at your facility, you must set up SiteLink properly for each facility and check that your facility qualifies for ID Upload.
What This Setup Process Actually Does
By setting up your SiteLink Web Edition to prepare it for ID Upload, you are actually enabling SiteLink’s ePhotos & eFiles settings. This requires you to sync your local files with the SiteLink cloud.
By doing this, you effectively upload any existing files in the SiteLink photo directory to the SiteLink Web Edition cloud storage, allowing you to access the files online. Because of this, make sure that any IDs you have already digitally collected and stored at this facility are all present in the directory on that computer.
Once your complete the setup, your StoragePug website will be able to upload files from the rental form directly into SiteLink.
Step-By-Step Guide
The following steps will help you set up SiteLink for ID Upload. This step must be completed physically on each computer where you run SiteLink at each facility where you intend to enable ID Upload.
Access your SiteLink home screen and select Setup at the top of the window.
From here, select ePhotos & eFiles.
Click the Browse button and locate the tenant photo directory on your computer. By default, the location will be C:\Program Files (x86)\SiteLink Web Edition\Photos\.
Once you have the photo directory selected, click Convert.
SiteLink will ask to confirm you want to begin the conversion. Select Yes to begin the process.
Complete this process on every computer at every facility where ID Upload will be enabled.
PUG PRO TIP: Make sure you have a stable internet connection before beginning this process. An unstable connection may cause interruptions and complications.
